Water World

Guests big and small are all looking forward to jump in the pool after finally arriving at the hotel. The view through the glass walls of the wellness area in the Hotel Marina-Port**** from our infinity swimming pool and 10-person spa tub creates the illusion that you are swimming or relaxing among the cooling waves of Lake Balaton.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the warm water and fizzy bubbles of the jacuzzi massaging your sore body. Forget about everyday troubles while reading your favourite book in one of the deck chairs lined up along the edge of the pool. Does exercise drive away your troublesome thoughts better? This is the perfect opportunity to cut through the weaves in our 10x20-metre swimming pool.

Of course, we did not forget about the younger members of the family either: the indoor child- and baby pools invite the little ones to play in the water with a rainbow-coloured slide, a water-spouting frog, and a snake-shaped mister. Water adventures, fun, laugh - guaranteed to be refreshing for everyone!

To ensure the comfort of even the youngest guests, we provide a playpen and a diaper changing station next to the baby pool, and the toilets are equipped with a step stool, potty, and a toilet seat insert to help toddlers become more independent.

Our pools

Sauna island

Our Finnish sauna, salt-therapy infrasauna, sauna with light therapy and steam bath are islands of relaxation. It is recommended to stay longer in the lower-temperature infrasauna to start the detoxication, anti-inflammatory and regenerative processes. The beneficial effects of the salt bricks also help relieve the symptoms respiratory conditions such as asthma and allergies. Our light therapy sauna adds light therapy to the beneficial effects of sauna. Our steam cabin also helps in the relaxation, fills the body with positive energy, and has a very positive effect on health and beauty.

The hot air in the 18-20-person Finnish sauna rejuvenates the body, its fragrances calm the troubled soul. From the end of October until the spring, our certified sauna master invites you to participate in our popular sauna sessions. Balaton breeze with sea salt, olive oil, and soft coconut butter, Dolce vita with honey and banana paste and Hungarian peach brandy, or Icy cool with frozen fruits and birch branches? Which one will be your favourite?

After the sauna programme, we offer several options to cool down your warm body. You can relax in the comfort of our deck chairs, prepare for your next sauna session with the vitamin-rich, non-alcoholic drinks offered by the bar of our wellness area or just let the liberating, stress-relieving, harmonizing feelings of the session flow through your body...

Keeping the children in mind, the sauna island of the Hotel Marina-Port**** is non-nude, we provide sauna towels for the sessions.

Opening times of the wellness area until 16 December 2021:

• Mondays to Thursday: closed
• on Friday, Saturday: 8 am – 8 pm
• on Sundays: 8 am – 6 pm

Opening times of the wellness area from 17 December to 2 January:

• Mondays: 10 am – 8 pm
• Tuesdays to Sundays: 8 am – 8 pm
